Strawberry banana jello poke cake

  1. White cake mix
  2. Jello
  3. Eggs
  4. Oil
  5. Water

Start by making the white cake. Bake according to instructions on the box.

Towards the end or after you have finished baking your cake. Start making your jello according to the box but DO NOT put in the fridge to chill just yet.

Poke holes in your cake with a fork or a toothpick. This will allow the jello to go through your whole cake and absorb better.

Next, pour your jello on top. Completely soak your cake. Place in the fridge for at least an hour or two. Add whip cream if you want. Can also add strawberries on top of whip cream or bananas.

Tasty-walmart reveiw

So last Christmas my grandmother in law bought me the big Tasty cookware set from Walmart. I was so surprised when I got it because I love to cook. One thing I hate is doing dishes. Thankfully I have learned that these nonstick pans really are what they say they are. Cleaning up after supper has been a breeze now. The food looks great in the pots and pans and makes easy cleanup. Can’t ask for more than that! Am I right? Not only do they have pots, pans, bakeware, and utensils. They also have an app full of recipes. Just check out your play store on your android phone and type in tasty. The app will come up and just download. Once you have it downloaded you can check out all types of recipes. Step by step instructions and videos! You can even save your recipes. All and all I absolutely recommend easy as an app and to add to your kitchen.

Easy cornbread

Cornbread is a southern delicacy as some would say. It’s definitely love in our family. Sometimes though I forget to pick up eggs or milk and can’t make it according to the box. So I’ve found a new and tasty way to make it without all the other ingredients.

1 box of jiffy cornbread

1 can of sweet cream corn

Just mix them together and bake according to the box until you can poke it with a fork and it comes out clean. Then you know it’s for sure done and yummy!

Rainbow brownies

Omg! These were so much fun to make. I enjoyed spending time with my four years old and his dad making these. Needless to say, they licked the bowl clean once I was done with it.

I just bought a basic brownie mix and a white icing. In my Tasty miniature bowls, I put globs of icing in each one. My son Stanley chose green, yellow, and red colors for his graduation brownies.

I mixed the colors in separate bowls of icing so they wouldn’t just mix all together.

Once the brownies were cooked we tried out a four leaf clover cookie cutter to make shapes. Added some icing and then of course sprinkles. We had so much fun making these and can not wait to eat them after graduation.

These are the ones my son Stanley did. He did the sprinkles and had so much fun with it.

My big graduate and his brother at graduation. They really enjoyed the brownies when we got home!

Grilled cheese

  • So I know this one may seem pretty basic but just imagine being on your own for the first time and you have never even cooked a meal. This will get you through. Want to spice things up a bit? Try using different types of cheese or add bacon bits. Want a healthier choice? Dice up some spinach and toss on the cheese. There are so many ways to make it, but you need to know the basics first. Here is where I come in. I hope you enjoy the post.
  • sourdough bread in slices
  • .2 pieces of cheese of your liking.
  • Butter

Butter each piece of bread on one side. These will be the outside of your sandwich. Place the two pieces of cheese in the middle of the two slices. Cook on medium high for a few mins on each side till a golden brown. Cut in half and eat! It’s a favorite for the kids! They love it! it also helps them get enough calcium in their systems.

Chocolate covered pretzels

Everybody seems to love chocolate covered pretzels so when I had made my chocolate covered strawberries I made these as well. Needless to say they turned out great!

I did them the same way I did the strawberries. Melted down chocolate chunks and dipped pretzels in it. Once the chocolate cooled I drizzled the white chocolate over top. Can also add sprinkles!

Chocolate covered strawberries

These were so much fun to make! A few Christmas ago I tried my hand at making chocolate covered strawberries and they were a huge hit on Christmas day with all the family around for the holidays.

I went to the store on a whim and found a giant bark of chocolate both dark and white. I started to melt down the chocolate in two different pots. Do this on low so it melts and doesn’t cook to your pot or burn your chocolate.

I simply dipped my freshly washed and dried strawberries into thr dark chocolate and laid out on the aluminum foil. Then once the dark chocolate had harden I drizzled the white chocolate with a spoon over top.

Next year I’m gonna have to try sprinkles!
